On Thursday, April 27th, Ivy held our 5th Annual Bring Your Child to Work Day.

Ivy is proud of our participation in TODSTW Foundation. We believe it's important for children to see where their parents work and what they do. We understand that early exposure to the work environment can positively impact a child's life and can ultimate career aspirations.

THIS YEAR’S THEME IS:

Who do you count on? You may look to friends, teammates, family, mentors and teachers to not let you down. And in return, they can count on you to do the same for them! Being part of a workplace team also involves accepting responsibilities. When each team member acts responsibly, it makes the workplace more successful. Ivy had a Luau and Team building activities.
Ivy Realty was proud to support this year’s SunriseWALK which benefited Sunrise Day Camp in Long Island.
Summer 2016

Sunrise Day Camp–Long Island is the world’s first full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings, provided completely free of charge. The fun, friendship and smiles continue year round through various camp-like programs and in-hospital services.

Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island is a proud member of the Sunrise Association, whose mission is to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings world-wide, through the creation of Sunrise Day Camps, Year-Round Programs and In-Hospital Recreational Activities, all offered free of charge. Sunrise Day Camp-Long Island is a program of the Friedberg JCC, a beneficiary agency of UJA-Federation of New York.

Boys Scout of America Event

For over a century, the Boy Scouts of America has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society. The Boy Scouts of America is just one of the many organizations Columbia Bank has grown with over the years. This year Ivy was proud to support Columbia Bank and The Boy Scouts of America at their Clay Shooting event in Pawling, NY.

Ivy Realty is proud to be a contributor to the MS Rock For A Cure being held this year at the Count Basie Theater on June 13th.
The Chapter recognizes special populations: For individuals living with MS in Long-term Care Facilities, the Chapter's Day Out program provides a one day getaway. The Computer Outreach Program fits the needs of people who are restricted to their homes or nursing homes. The Chapter's Scholarship Program provided $47,500 to 55 students in 2014.

The Chapter gives a vocie to people with MS by relentlessly advocating and championing the rights of people with disabilities, working to establish or improve community resources, helping people to advocate for themselves and by joining forces with individuals and/or organizations who share our goals.


Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer
Rasing Awareness. Funding Research. Supporting Patients. Achieving the DREAM!
On April 18, 2015, Ivy Realty donated to Debbie's Dream Foundation: Curing Stomach Cancer which is dedicated to raising awareness about stomach cancer, advancing funding for research and providing education and support internationally to patients, families and caregivers. DDF seeks as its ultimate goal to make the cure for stomach cancer a reality.
Plainsboro Public Library - Library Summer Discovery Program
Ivy made a difference by participating in the 3rd Annual Mayor's Cup scramble golf tournament on September 15, 2014 at The Meadows at Middlesex, Plainsboro, NJ. The benefit was to help raise support for the Library Summer Discovery Program, "It's All Greek To Me", sponsored by the Plainsboro Free Public Library Foundation.


The Old Timers Athletic Association of Greenwich
In November 2014, Ivy donated to The Old Timers Athletic Association of Greenwich which has a primary mission to raise funds to help support youth sports participation and provide college scholarships to those in need. 
Boy Scouts of America
In 2014, once again, Ivy is proud to support the Boy Scouts of America. A 104- year old tradition that promotes character, confidence and camaraderie—and more recently, digital savvy.
March of Dimes Hosts 2013 Signature Chefs Gourmet Gala at Teaneck Marriott
October 2013 - March of Dimes North Jersey Division held its 2013 Signature Chefs Gourmet Gala, a dinner, dance, silent auction fund raising event featuring some of the finest chefs and hottest restaurants in North Jersey, presented at Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe. Ivy attendees included Cynthia Rich and Raymond Nafash and their guests.

The event honored Judith L. Roman, President & CEO of AmeriHealth New Jersey.

Unity Games
February 2012 - Ivy Realty donates to the Unity Games. Their mission is to improve community relationships among the Youth by exposing the different ethnic and cultural diversities to a common bond, or common experience, The Unity Games.

Long Island Y.E.S.
January 2012 - Ivy’s Hauppauge NY location – we are proud to assist by donating locally to Long Island Y.E.S. Our contribution of office furnishings allowed this organization to present a more professional appearance and further assist their networking with other agencies in helping area youth.



March of Dimes

Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation
Ivy participates yearly in the Stone Point Capital Foundation, Inc.’s Charity Golf Tournament for the Benefit of the Fibrolamellar Cancer Foundation. Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma is a rare form of liver cancer that usually occurs in young adults who have no history of liver disease. Each year, approximately 200 people are diagnosed with this cancer worldwide. For more information on this foundation please click here.
Dysautonomia Foundation
Ivy is pleased to support the Dysautonomia Foundation. The Dysautonomia Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity that supports medical treatment, research, public awareness and social services for the benefit of people afflicted with FD (Familial Dysautonomia). The Foundation has established the world's only two FD treatment centers and is the largest single source of funding for research and treatment specifically for the benefit of people with FD. The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation
August 2011 - Ivy is proud to be a supporter of The Nantucket Golf Club Foundation. This Foundation is dedicated to promoting the positive development of children on Nantucket. The Children’s Charity Classic is a dinner auction and golf tournament held in August each year. The Classic raises funds to distribute among a wide spectrum of island based charities that touch the lives of Nantucket youth.


Ivy’s Hauppauge NY location - Tenant Luncheon & Food Drive
November 2010 - Ivy had their Tenant Appreciation Event and extended the opportunity for all to give back by working once again with Lighthouse Mission, Inc. www.lighthousemission.net by means of a Food Drive. The tenants had a fantastic time and were so helpful in gathering the needed goods to assist with this charity event-especially the extra requested goods needed for Thanksgiving meals! While everyone mingled, had fun and enjoyed great refreshments, they were able to extend themselves to those less fortunate. We are truly thankful for the opportunity to continue to enjoy and appreciate our tenants and partner with them in helping our local community!
Ivy’s Lanidex Plaza - 1st Semi-Annual Blood Drive
November 2010 - On Thursday, November 4th, Lanidex Plaza had the 1st Semi-Annual Blood Drive. The Community Blood Services of NJ was thrilled with the result as we harvested 24 units of blood for the blood bank.
Ivy’s Hauppauge NY location - Onsite Farmers Market & Fundraiser
Fall 2010 - Ivy has partnered with the Islandia Farmers Market for a month long once weekly onsite market and fundraiser. This event was such a hit with the tenants with a fantastic selection of the fresh fruits and vegetables, jams, homemade breads and pies to order and flowers! This not only helps the charity but is also helping a local farming business. 10% of the sales are being donated to Have A Heart. Please see a portion of the email from the Farmer’s Market: "We just wanted to say thanks for giving us the opportunity to do business at your building. You and your staff made us feel very welcome, and all the tenants were great to deal with. We will be making a monetary donation towards the charity. Thanks again!! Roy and Mike."
Tenant Appreciation - Ivy’s Parsippany location
September 2010 - Ivy has once again celebrated in style! This Boardwalk themed tenant appreciation event was filled with a great menu offering such treats as cheese steaks, sausage and peppers, a variety of subs, nachos and cheese. For dessert...funnel cakes, watermelon and Italian ice, of course! The décor was complete with beach balls, etc.! The following door prizes were won: Large - $100.00 Tabor Road Tavern Gift Certificate, Medium – Bean Bag Toss Game, Small – Ladderball Game. Fun was had by all! Lighthouse Mission Fundraiser
July 2010 - Ivy’s Hauppauge NY location has once again partnered with Lighthouse Mission, www.lighthousemission.net, by facilitating a fundraiser.



Jersey Battered Women’s Service
Holiday 2009 - Ivy’s Parsippany offices sponsored a Holiday Gift Drive benefiting Jersey Battered Women’s Service, Inc. (JBWS). This drive allowed women and children to shop for one another “free of charge” for the holidays.


Tenant Appreciation - Ivy’s Parsippany location
August 2009 - Ivy celebrated gratitude for their tenants in style with a Tenant Appreciation Festival. Fun fall decorations filled the grounds and fantastic food was abundant.

Lighthouse Mission Fundraiser
Thanksgiving 2008 - Ivy’s Hauppauge NY location partnering with Lighthouse Mission, www.lighthousemission.net, spearheaded a food drive in time to help their local neighborhoods celebrate a bountiful Thanksgiving. 


Ivy’s Corporate Office Octoberfest
In October 2008 Ivy’s Corporate Office in Montvale NJ held a fundraising tenant event.  Themed as Octoberfest, the celebratory colors were black, orange and pink... why pink?... for Breast Cancer Awareness month.  This event was filled with fresh baked apple and pumpkin pies whole or by the slice, cider, donuts, other delicious goodies, as well as mini pumpkins and awareness bracelets for sale.  Through this event we were able to raise $175 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, www.nationalbreastcancer.org, see the attached letters.  We’d like to once again thank our tenants for participating and DePiero’s farm for their help and donations.

Teamwork Foundation, Inc & The New York Gauchos
September 2008 - Ivy’s corporate office in Montvale NJ, along with our tenant Adecco USA, www.adecco.com,  have donated computer monitors, keyboards, etc. to this fantastic foundation. Thank you Adecco!  Teamwork foundation is located in the Bronx, NY and has been providing after-school tutoring and summer basketball programs to inner city boys and girls for over 40 years! To date, the program has involved over 10,000 young people, thousands of whom have gone through the entire program.  Nearly 80% of graduates have received at least one full year of college tuition, free... a success rate unequaled by any other program involving inner city youth.  Over 100 of their alumni have gone on to play in Division 1 colleges and in the NBA! Just to name a few John Salley, Kenny Anderson, Mark Jackson and Stephon Marbury are among those who have played for the New York Gauchos! In the last ten years alone, Gauchos players have received over 200 total college years tuition.  A total value of over $6 million dollars!  The Gauchos program has literally given thousands of underprivileged kids an opportunity they would otherwise not have had...the chance to share in the American dream through a college education.  For more information please visit www.newyorkgauchos.com
St. Jude's Children's Hospital
September 2008 - Ivy's Corporate Office Supports St. Jude's Children's Hospital through Plant Sale. People to People - Tenant Appreciation Luncheon - Ivy’s Parsippany location
August 2008 - Ivy’s Corporate Office in Montvale, NJ celebrated their Tenant Appreciation Luncheon in August 2008. At this event, we partnered with tenants asking for their help in supporting our local communities. Together we joined with People to People of Rockland County and worked with their list of needed items. The donations of food pantry items, computers, monetary contributions and school supplies were overwhelming!
