Mr. Nafash began his career with Ivy Realty in 1997 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer. He is credited with compiling and developing a financial department to service Ivy’s owned and managed real estate portfolio and its Fund management business. He is responsible for managing Ivy’s operating, financial and compliance activities and the oversight of all accounting, tax, and reporting requirements for Ivy’s real estate fund, management company and portfolio entities, as well as investor communications. In addition, he is an integral part of the acquisition, disposition and refinancing of all investments in the Ivy portfolio.
Prior to joining Ivy, Mr. Nafash was the Controller of Professional Sports Care Management, Inc. ("PSCM") from 1992 through 1996. His achievements at PSCM included developing all aspects of a financial department, designing extensive management reports, completion of an initial public offering prospectus and all other SEC reporting requirements. He was also an integral part of the acquisition and start-up of over thirty entities.
Mr. Nafash earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey, and he is a Certified Public Account (inactive) in New Jersey.
